Wife had one - it did work as advertised when diving (well it broke soon after) 🙁

That's not a good sign, although I won't be using it for diving.

Just had a look, couldn't tell what time it was on the watch...........

Why? Can't a person just like the aesthetics of an object without it being a sign of delusion?

For me, that watch ticks the boxes that I look for i.e. it is tough, practical (i.e. it won't break easily - I've have far too many "costume" watches break, or become damage, on me), and I like the look of it: What is the problem?
