You don't need an old GoPro, you just need any old camera. So long as it cost more than £100 when new, they will block it in against a new one. It's a good deal.

If you are in the NW, the Bolton branch of Cash Converters has a boxed 8 Black for £244. It mings bad in there though....

The new mount is well convenient, but it is really wobbly. The new battery spec irritates when you have a few spares that can't now be used. The lack of replacement lens may be a deal breaker but I've never had to replace a lens on any action camera.
