Me and the boy are going to the match tomorrow afternoon. What’s likely to be the best approach for getting back north to Scotland, using the M6?
I know it will involve a decent walk and/or tram or train ride, so where’s best to park to make our way to andcfrom OT?

i'd think about parking in the media city carpark, its not to far from there to the M602-M61-M6

I'm a veteran of this. Find parking on a street in Stretford, then m60-m56-m6. Avoids the lot.

Head straight through the trophy room - hasn't been busy in there for a while.

That's massively the wrong direction for Scotland - agree with MartynS myself.

Park as far away as you can manage. I've spent up to 2 hours in a car that's travelled bugger all distance from OT before.

Whitefield park & ride. £4.80 for a day travelcard.

Or, Google Maps.
