With time to kill in Salisbury on Friday, I had exhausted the amount of banter and cups of coffee avaialble on Fisherton Street and somehow found myself in TK Maxx. Possibly the worst example of retail I have ever seen, yet somehow so very magnetic and fascinating....! I even bought something. A rather nice pertex gilet from Montane for a tenner. Which was nice. Seems to me that if you have nothing to do and nothing in particular you're looking to buy, it's worth a trawl around for a while. I shall return...!

Has anyone ever seen cycling gear in there? Jerseys etc.

No never seen any at all, but i did get a great pair of gortex gloves last december, which where superb when we had the really cold weather. And they only cost £18 😀 as against Sealskins which cost me £38 and still left my fingers numb 👿

I hate tacky maxx. Then again I'm odd, must be the only woman that dislikes shopping. Well except for Laura Ashley, that's more of an addiction.
Hubby loves it and always comes home with some bargain for me.
