Via "@Ihnatko" on Twitter,

"They should do what the British and Germans did in WW1: use the unexpected break in hostilities to play a game of football."

Never watched this before. I didn't know they had a head-torch quarter.

[s]I would just like to say that last years Superbowl thread, was much better.

Whoops, that was 2011.

Seems 2012, was quite the quiet year as well.

It appears the Ravens are choking.

I think Baltimore need wake up, the break for the lights being down hasn't done them any good at all.

Anybody watching this online? I have tried to find a few sites but I keep getting messed around. Which stream is the real deal?

Thanking you!

There's an official CBS feed, whether you can get it here or not I don't know.

It's on the BBC, though.

Heh. Gawd bless the US commentator for trying to tie into the British audience with a Peter Crouch reference. Despite it being waaaaaaay off the mark.

I'm hanging in there. Off to bed as soon as the game ends, though. Will have to check out the trophy presentation later today.

Great game. Ravens bossed the first half, but the 49'ers staged a great comeback to keep it interesting in the second half. Probably one of the best Super bowls of recent times.

Right. Bed. Zzzzz.

Edit: Oh, and the DJ can **** right off playing Europe's The Final Countdown.

I dunno. I reckon with Mardi Gras, they are used to the incoming levels of debauchery 8)

What a brilliant end, just like a game of chess and fair play to the Baltimore punter for taking 8 seconds off the clock in his own end zone for the safety! A game of inches and seconds and brilliant drama tonight. What a way for Ray Lewis to bow out of the sport. A proper proper legend and so well deserved.
