Just bought a new pair of Bolle sunglasses.

The plastic is probably made from chemicals that do indeed do that but unless you put them in a gas chromatograph and then inhale the smoke then its never going to happen!

Most likely means they contain lead, so best to avoid cooking with them or eating them.

Probably contains Phthalates.

Relax, although harmful - they're now so ubiquitous in the environment that there is no use worrying.

They leach into the environment very easily, so the idea that you'd have to ingest them or put them in a gas chromatograph and inhale the smoke to be exposed - is incorrect.

So as long as I don't heat them or eat them I am fine, although, we're all ****ed anyway.

Just avoid sticking the ends of the earpieces in your mouth and chewing them, something a lot of people seem to do, for some reason, judging by several pairs of sunnies I've bought from eBay.

Diet Coke (in California at least) carried a similar warning 20 years ago, dunno if it still does
