Just seen two swifts flying over the house! I thought I heard one the other evening, but couldn’t see anything. Also, there’s a big halo around the sun, and it’s clouding over, so a clear sign summer has come, the weather’s going to hell in a hand-cart! 😕

Been and gone. I think you missed it.

Saw my first swallows about 3 weeks ago.

There were housemartins flying above my house at the weekend but the ones that live at home haven't returned yet.
