Another forum I've just found has a "pub carpark" forum... quite different rules from the main forum to say the least.
Maybe it's people into HiFi having more bile to vent than mountain bikers, or whether it's just a darned good idea I don't know, but it seems to work there, and there are more parallels between the forums.
Is there a way to get this off the ground?
Or ... alternatively ... head over to hifiwigwam (in the right sub-forum) and vent away.
Sod that, it'd be busier than the bike forum!

I think bitchiness would still spill over into other thread. You see it now, two people have an argument in one thread, then in another thread a comment reffreencing the argument thread.

In days long gone a bunch of STWers set up a very-much-less moderated forum where there were a lot fewer rules. It got quite popular for a while but found there had still to be some swear filters and so on. It now has a small hardcore membership.
