[Closed] Sub a pressie?

Evening all,

Quite a simple one (I hope):

Birthday soon and Mother is after getting me a subscription.

I note that unless you buy a 'subscription as a present' the sub automatically renews each year. I don't want to be the reason why in a years time my mother ends up paying for another years subscription. I'm also not fussed about a box or bottle, and they don't seem to come with a digital subscription.

Can the automatic renewal be turned off as soon as the sub starts (or does it have to be cancelled towards the end of the sub)?

And can I get her to apply for it via the Subscribe to Singletrack link in the top right of the screen rather
