[#10054045]

Inspired by SaxonRider's country music thread, and I'm sure this has been done before, but...

I love all sorts of music, but spend most of my time listening to Hip-Hop.  I'm getting a bit bored of my Spotify playlist though, so what Hip-Hop (and I use that label as the loosest of terms encompassing everything from Old Skool to more Grime-y stuff) currently floats your boat?

Some of my current favourites (NSFW - contains swears):

Definitely gonna be checking out some of those later on, I'm a bit out of touch with hip hop at the moment. Though I'm just gonna leave this here.

That Open Mike Eagle vid is great. Posted that in the Tune Association thread the other day.

These threads always descend into too much "golden era" stuff for me, but I'll chuck some stuff in seeing as the old thread has disappeared.

Some great stuff so far.  A few that are new to me, and good to see some videos for tracks that I'm already familiar with.

I'd normally try and avoid older stuff, as it's feels a bit obvious, but I've just bought tickets to see these in a tiny venue:

And these are the best live Hip Hop (and Joey Bada$$ isn't too bad).

Sweet Jesus the Abdominal Hit Song is good. He's on another level.

Have we had DJ Shadow/Run The Jewels yet?

Slow orchestral build up, but certainly worth it.

Gutted I never got to see Mix master Mike and the Beasties before MCA died. The Glasgow gig looked mental.
