Nipped one or two over the years, never created a problem. I can vouch for the fact that it wasn't on purpose 🙂

Risk of hep etc as close to zero as it's possible to be. Might get infected wound / cellulitis - unlikely though.

my youngest wouldnt go the barbers so started doin it myself with clippers, i only do 1 hairstyle hes nearly 9 now , i do myself then do his hair , over and done in 5 mins no bother 😀
i want to write a joke about getting the child to the docs ASAP, as a lot of hairdressers carry some fairly hefty STIs.
but even tho it would be said in jest, i don't want to upset anyone so i wont.

At least the barber had clippers sharp enough to cut his ear.
Don't forget the years when barbers didn't sharpen their scissors or clippers and just pulled the hair out.
swap his ears for smaller ones.
Don't go near them, might have aids.
