[#3614148]

We all know the format of Art Club :-).

For fun as always.

Also, I've started a blog/website type thing to keep a list of the currant and previous topics. Perhaps a gallery might be cool as well.

http://www.stwartclub.wordpress.com

Also: We need some banners for the top at 940px × 198px for the site. Perhaps next week project 🙂

Also: If anyone wants to edit the site I'll make them users. Mail me 🙂

That, if I'm not very much mistaken, is David Thorne's spider.

No offence Drac, but your giraffe...

Post of the year.

Tried a giraffe, didn't really like it.
So I drew a tiger.

Of course she's not happy. She's just caught you for tea and now she's seriously disappointed.

Yay - been away from STW for a few weeks, happy to see Art Club is still going!

But not sure how much time I'll have, just moved house and starting a new job on Wednesday, plus the scanner is stashed away somewhere. BUT I've got my full set of Derwent pencils back from storage.

Bit more abstract this one. It's based on 1950 Russian ceramic giraffe.

Pencil, watercolour pencil, gold pen and black ink...what a mess.

Right, time to bring out the Wacom artpad and do a bit of sketching. It will be rubbish though. You have been warned.

I love STW art club - seems attract nice people with a sense of humor 🙂

@ Catflees - it heavy duty water colour paper/ hot press paper - not the best choice for pencil really - cold press it better!

Personally love RT's Russian giraffe.

I vote for Dragon's as it's not long been Chinese new year and it's the year of the dragon!

Very kind 🙂

I'd scan others in, but I'm sort of ashamed that I haven't done any since the 80s 🙁

I haven't drawn superheroes since the 70s, so I think sumuri's kinda cute 😉

My reaction to Mrs Toast's has the office looking at me. Love the tiny cyclist in the corner... shouldn't there be a rainbow though?

Only if he's riding, he's obviously stopped to take a breather! 😀

That is a quality drawing. Look at the passion, feeling, character of my friend Mr Woodlouse. Are you sure you mean prison cell?

Butterfly, I think your paper is too toothy, try Bristol board to bring out the subtle tones 🙂
