There’s an offshoot series coming up before season 5 I believe, so may be using the original idea for season 2 with a different plot and cast
Lol you guys think way too much and too deeply.
Between this and the Top Gun thread you seem to have forgotten it's just entertainment.
it’s just entertainment.
What does that even mean? The thread is just talking about the show. Are we doing something wrong?
A little bit. It's like being with 20 Barry Normans who have to analyse every single intricate detail to the nth degree, every moment of continuity, every plot detail, every attempt at putting characters in different scenarios and blending them together is then torn apart by the pack of wolves on stw who could obviously have done it better.

But if we enjoy it please leave us to it? We don't all have to be like you. I want to be like me.

have you read your own bike setup threads… 😉
I enjoyed it all but didn't understand why the last 2 episodes were so long. A lot could have been cut out.
Makes me what to re watch The Goonies.
There were a few obvious plot holes and some editing could have been a bit leaner i guess but still, no disappointment here, I thought the entire season was exceptional.
It's the first thing in ages that I've watched without doom-scrolling on my phone at the same time, and also the only thing (apart from Max Verstappen's antics in the F1) that has had me shouting out loud at the TV.
-**** YES IT'S METALLICA!
-HOPPERS GOT A ****ING SWORD!
I think the big scene in episode 7 was just incredible, beautifully shot as
Edit- shame those spoiler tags aren't inline
The only weakness of the series was (presumably Covid driven) the split team approach, it never works that well when you effectively have three completely separate plots running in tandem, even if you aim to bring it all together for the finale. There are a few too many unnecessary characters now.
Having said that, it was still excellently done, and while you kinda knew how the ending was going to play out, it was satisfying.
Just finished it, thought it was great TV, loved spotting all the Easter eggs.
Anyone else notice the mistake where 11 was called Millie in one scene? Surprised they didn’t correct that.
Perhaps a nod to the end of Star Wars when Han calls ‘Carrie’ (Fisher) rather than ‘Leia’ as they meet in the hanger after destroying the Death Star?
