as title, how do i stop the home screen with my app icons rotating from portrait to landscape? can't find it anywhere in settings and when i take it out of my pocket it's usually in the wrong view - very annoying

Slide up from the bottom and click the lock with arrow around it.

@drac - thanks, it had been driving me nuts
to the others - i had been using a variety of these techniques, to the point where it looked like i was having some form of episode everytime i tried to retrieve my phone
