On our drive down to the Alps this summer I'm looking at breaking the journey up in our campervan and figure that the Foret d'Orient looks to the best scenic place to stop half way down. Anyone know if it's okay to park up f.o.c. around the lakes- I assume that the park adopts the same "aires" style atititude as other parts of France.
OR...
any other locations worthy of a stopover?
