hehe, great fun to watch, especialy the juniors in the mini's, proper motor racing 🙂
Even as a spectator you come away smelling of petrol and covered in tyre/brake dust 🙂
I found it boring as hell to watch in real life. Gears and Tears is oddly interesting, given that the racing isn't great.
I was a slightly surprised to hear Brian Sewell evangelising about banger racing this weekend.
Some classes were a bit boring, particulalry the microstocks and the modstocks (too slow, too fast respectively)
The hot-rods, juniors, LR+ER+HH races were spectacular especialy with the reveresed starting grids meaning the series leader would always have to pull off something spectacular in the last corner to get past and win!
Throughout the Brain Sewell program I had to keep reminding myself 'it is NOT April 1st'.
Strangest thing I heard all weekend.
