[#1221301]

Currently we are rennovating our old staircase and need to replace 3 spindles. I've trawled the 'net and cant find the same one.

Any suggestions/reccomendations for sources?

cheers

It's likely B&Q will have your style, or as someone says, Howdens...unless they were custom. Age of the house/staircase?

If it's a Victorian or Edwardian place and you're not painting them, and if they're pitch pine it might be worth trying a reclamation yard - 'cos you may have trouble getting a decent colour/grain match with currently available timber.

Thanks jond, hadn't thought of that. Its lovely close grain pine.

As it's Edwardian, sadly B&Q et all dont stock anything like it!

Davedalbywoodturning.co.uk can make reproductions for us so I think this is where we'll go.

Cheers all
