Boxer Tyson Fury, cyclists Chris Froome and Lizzie Armitstead, swimmer Adam Peaty, gymnast Max Whitlock and rugby league's Kevin Sinfield are nominated.
I'm sure Lucy bronze will win, once people Google who on earth she is and marvel at her massive achievements. In fact if you search for her on the bbc website other than spoty 2015 she last was mentioned in 2014, which seems a little odd
That just reminded me, sky should be team of the year, it was really a fantastic team performance riding for Froome which delivered him the victory.
SPOTY itself has become far to much celebrity dancing on ice though, and is barely a sports show at all.
