Two sulky winners as favourites and a few others. No MTBers again!?!?! 😉

Used to be a seasonal highlight when I was young. Might have a dinner party tonight instead 😉

If Jo Pavey wins someone will have to get Brendan a new pair of pants.

Go dressage.......

Vote for whomever you like; we all know it's going to Lewis Hamilton.

I though that duffer but aren't the odds suggesting Rory by a mile.

Golf, skeleton and dressage - the exclusivity monitors will be up in arms!

Do any of the 10 candidates have a personality?
Hamilton is a whinging child who drives a very fast car in a very dull sport.
Dressage is beyond the comprehension of mortal man
Bale is a great footballer but is very dull
Etc etc

Has to be Jo Pavey, she is down to earth, and has worked hard to get where she is alongside bringing up a young family. She is involved in local athletics here in Exeter and often see her out running or doing normal family stuff. Millions of miles away from Hamiliton et al, she will be getting my vote.

It's a lot closer than it was - could have got 7/2 on Hamilton 2 weeks ago (I wish I had), best is now 7/4.

It's always a clear favourite, a couple that you couldn't rule out I suppose, and then some to make up the numbers.

Jo Pavey would be a very deserving winner but it's hard to see anyone other than Hamilton or McIlroy winning it.

Froch for me. I think he does have a personality. Just not a showy one.

First Spoty in a while I can't be bothered to watch. Not been a vintage year of sport 2014.

The X Factor final is more entertaining than BBC1. Never understood it.

Lizzy gets my vote, as long as it's not a glorified tiddlywinks chase for prizemoney with a bat stick in a big field player I don't mind.

It has been dire for quite a few years now, I think most sports fans gave up on it when it was fixed for the horse riding royal. It does very much feel like the BBC decided to give it a makeover and hand it over to the strictly dancing on ice production team, who decided to get their own back on all the sporty types who never picked them for the team in school.

Besides it can't be a sports programme if it isn't presented by a man in a brown burtons suit who has lost control of his moustache. And no matter how hard Claire Balding tries, she just can't master the pipe smoking and mild drinking to really convince she belongs there.

There's only one winner this year, and he's not on the list.

Gary Verity, the man who brought Le Tour to Yorkshire.

Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo. But I bet it's golf or F1. On the positive side, Clare Balding looks really well.

I agree that it is typical 'BBC trying to do razzmatazz and failing' bullshit, but it is still better than the bloody X factor. Mind you, so is an enema.

It would be much more engaging if it was just a bloke at a bar with a small audience. Think this:

Just take 'personality' out of the title as it's got nowt to do with it based on recent winners. BBC prime time tosh. Better a program on the unknown champions and volunteers.

It should be Lewis, F1 World Champion for the second time, he's got to be in final 3 at the very least?

Jo Pavey ftw.

Manon and Tahnee are there, although Rachael turned her invite down.

"More personality than the whingy driver can ever hope to possess"?

Sorry, but I don't think so, Lewis did it when he'd already been 'written off' by so many, by grid, hard work, determination and knowing when and where to push and also to back off.
In the last race he was in a class of his own, world champion class, the best in the world.
