but I'd respectfully suggest that the denizens of STW aren't fairly representative of [s]off-road cyclists as a whole[/s] any significant group of people

I watched a sport once on Bravo i think it was when i was younger, which involved

Basketball mixed with American Football and Trampolines

I give you: [url=

Utterly ridiculous, but amusing nonetheless.

I'll take back my comments about road cycling being dull:

At least some of the crashes are half decent.

Slamball looks great!!!

Ice Warriors. Filmed on the ice at the MEN Arena, a number of the 'Warriors' were Manchester Storm players.

Football is fantastic even better with a beer in your hand, even better if Binners team lose and you're sat at the side of him drinking your beer and gloating doesn't happen very often but still.....

Rugby League is my favourite game NOT Union although I will watch that too as what's not to like about chunky monkey men running round getting muddy in short shorts.... I do like the sport too though!!! Its just an added bonus

So to round up men with odd shaped balls and muddy tight shorts is the bestest

I used to go watching Manchester Storm twice a week when it first started till they wacked the ticket prices up

What do you do with them once you've rounded them up?

Dear God woman!! You do realise the swearing-at-the-telly level on Saturday is going to be elevated to Def Con One? Even if Herman Munster isn't playing. I suppose you'll be supporting 'THEM' *spits* then, will you?

Yeah, I missed the first season but picked it up some time in the second (1996).

I'd play Thunder songs VERY loud

... as recommended by their sound engineer in the cover notes on Back Street Symphony.

Soccer. Daft game, all looks totally random to me, and they keep kicking the ball to the other team. Nothing happens, nothing happens, still nothing happens then OMG OMG OMG somebody, almost, but didn't score a goal. Should just cut to the chase and do penalty shoots would allbe over much quicker.

Does have one virtue I have to admit, you know where are the Rangers fans are at any one time, in case personal ownership of cruise missiles ever become legal.

Rugby is a bit shit. Overcomplicated buck toothed wahs running sideways around a muddy paddock near Henley whilst mummy prepares smoked salmon sandwiches in the car park.

This is why business deals get done on a golf course - it is hard to hide your true self.

depends how well you're playing.

Most of my work colleagues play golf but I think it's a game, not a sport. Anything that can be competed at world class level by an OAP is not sport.

I like F1, for me its not only about the overtaking.
it is about the politics, times, controversy, winners, losers, technology, strategy and the battles between drivers.

Mainly, though I like my sports to be quite corrupt. Really anything involving money, gambling, drugs and sleeze.

I don't get in swimming: why all the different strokes? It should just be fastest to travel the distance any way they can. I mean in althletics its running. Run how you want, but just get there ahead of the other guy. There isn't a special race for people who run in a style that is not as fast as everyone else is there!

(and I am a keen swimmer, and yes I can do all the strokes pretty well)

Damn you Cougar. I look out the window for the briefest of seconds and there you go, pinching my thoughts. Bar Steward.
