i want to build a box for the van, but have certain things that need to fit into thingy shaped compartments.
before i sit here for hours messing around with paper and a ruler, is there a website that lets you enter sizes and either best arranges the layout or at least lets you move things around?

I dont know of anything free to automatically organise. Sketchup would provide a tool for visualising / messing around.

Create the shapes on sketchup and move them around like you would with paper, scissors and a ruler.

Seen a few but mostly in their own space, it's a great optimisation problem that leaves you unable to get anything out as you packed them in so well 😉
