Anyone Worked, lived, ridden etc.. Got any link to info about the MTB scene there?
Yes, I'm here right now working in Seoul for 4 months. Search for MTB Korea on facebook and there's a bit of a scene there. I've only been on one (solo) offroad ride so far but it was fairly reasonable given that I rode there from my apartment in a mega city. There are rides arranged on that facebook group most weekends, and I was talking to a shop today who ride every Sunday which I will hopefully get around to joining eventually.
Compared to the UK you see a lot more mountain bikes cycling on roads and cycle paths. Quite a lot of them titanium too. I'm not sure if that indicates all those people are also riding them offroad or if mountain bikes are just still in fashion here.
