Pair of raybans,snapped the hinge. Anybody know where I can get a new one without buying a whole pair of specs?

In every town there's a backstreet shop where a bloke is performing miracles with Dremels and glue on those much-loved glasses that the opticians haven't succeeded in talking their customers into replacing. Ask around and eventually you'll find one.
The original buyers of Ray-Bans also get a warranty but I can't remember if this covers accidental damage.
