Here's the problem..
New headset onto existing Xbox 360 connected via new headset/ controller adapter ( this plugs into the controller and has 2 x 3.5mm jack-ports) = no sound coming through the headphones.
What am I doing wrong?
Which model of Turtle Beach?
Sorry not turtle beach it's a Logitech G230
Seems it may need an extra adapter.

Same here, bit wrong that they don't sell it with the headset - cheapest I found was Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B08REVY
Thought we needed an adapter for our Turtle Beach headset but with a bit of Google and Youtube, managed to get it up and running. Not sure about the Logitech one though. Depends how many different sockets your tv has. Good luck.
There was a doc with the Turtle Beach one which showed the Xbox models needing adapters and those that didn't. Was all quite easy to understand.

Is it all pnp or do you have to get the 360 to recognise the new hardware?
