Felt the two bangs in Leeds, sounded like an explosion, loud enough to make me get up and look out of the window.
Air France planes transponder went off , worryingly there was a bloke on Twitter who stalks RAF Conigsby he seemed to have all the details flight number and flight paths of the civilian and military planes as it was happening I assume he was just really keen on FlightRadar.

Cougar makes sense. I live close to the airport and I heard them a couple of times as if they're circling.
