"Tell me why, I don't like [s]Mondays[/s] Tuesdays"

Only song the Boomtown Rats are remembered for, and yet Geldof is STILL clogging up our airwaves with his hair and his dreadful offspring.

Well it is a pretty epic song tho, and the reason he's clogging up our airwaves is something different and entirely more altruistic. Unlike the reason your are clogging up our forum.

The aim of live aid was to allow Africans to eat because of a single song. Of course this was a very conscious effort by Geldof who can testify to this strategy having dined out for most of his career on a single tune.

I dunno - Rat Trap is still played pretty regularly too (on stations such as Radio 6)

I never quite got the line "thank god it's them instead of you" Always seemed a bit gloaty!
