Yes I know its not quite the intro bit but hell in the early to mid 80's I listened to The Chameleons & the Cocteau Twins (+ This Mortal Coil) and not a lot else.
I even had one played at my wife's funeral, its not this one but it has a superb bass line.

Not just a great bass intro but a great song, great singer, great drummer and one of my favourite guitarists.
Would help people if I could actually get a video link to post properly on this new site (drumming is great too)!
