while I can't stand Level 42, I have to admit that the bassman was rather good. what was his name again, Mark King?

Nothing too flashy but I've always liked the bass in Alkaline Trio, loads of nice little fills.

A few Primus videos have been posted, but Tommy the Cat has a classic bass line. Tom Waits does some of the vocals, and Les Claypool's bartender arm extensions in the clip are awesome.
