Client meeting today with a crew from Berkhamsted, two of them coming up.

Being hospitable we suggested they arrive around 10am - 2.5 hours meeting and we would take them for lunch. Their response:

"Forget lunch, if we can get through the agenda before 12 can you take us out on your local trails if we bring our bikes?"

I have a client on the Swiss/Italian border.... time is always found for a road ride in the mountains when I go over. I just have to take clothes/shoes/helmet and he lends me his spare BMC to save the hastle of taking a bike. Mustn't grumble.

No names, no pack drill - client confidentially and all that.
Cracking ride out - amazing how much we managed to discuss while on the move. All meetings should be done this way. This may be the format for our quarterly meetings from now on. ๐Ÿ˜€

mountainbiking truely is the new golf ๐Ÿ™‚

it would be very cool if it were to recognised as as good a way of doing business informally as a trot round the golf course!

Seriously?

I used to live in Tring and know some of the Berko lot, which is why I asked. 'Jez with the Five' would have sufficed, just so I could be jealous of a lunch spin. I'm really not interested in stealing company secrets about whatever it is you do, or any of your clients.
