Can you narrow it down to some good companies for me?
Do they add value to your house?

Ecolution. I work for a local authority and they have our maintenance contract. Really good guys to deal with. Not sure if they do small, one off jobs but give them a call.
EDIT: Ref the value - yes they are an additional asset with potential savings for new owners, however the appearance may put people off so you could be narrowing your sales market.
