Socks just don't last anytime at all with me, pull them on and the the heel compartment detatches completely is it because i'm at the limit being a good size 11

Worn heel cups in shoes? My work boots didn't look too worn but I was getting through socks at an alarming rate. New boots fixed the problem.
I'm an 11, I buy M&S cotton-rich socks, and mine last ages, in fact they often outlast the covering of the heel cups of most of my shoes/boots, no idea why.

Decent quality plain black socks. No need to pair them, just bin one if it wears out. M&S seem OK. You do need type right size so they aren't over stretched

It's almost sandals weather, worry about it at the end of the year.
But he wears his sandals WITH socks...
I'm an 11 to 11 1/2 and wear out the padding in heel cups of new shoes/trainers, but my socks never go there.
I just buy black as i have so many single divorced socks, i hate the bunching under the toes some do and the heel problem, could be the bio powder thats affecting them
