Just had to put my sunglasses on ...

Is Klopp trying to out do Firmino in the Whitest Teeth of the season contest ..mind you he needed to do something as they used to be absolutely rank ..

Sad isn't it when you have absolutely nowt to say about your team ..

Ashley has sucked the life out of me ..and although I'm a fan of Rafa ..the style of football being played is absolute shite ..wake me up when it's all over ..

Well, there's a proper nights football on tonight then?

Haven't got a clue what the Spurs result will be. It depends which Spurs show up. I've had a few quid on Liverpool tonight (2 - 1 or 3-1 with Bobby glowy-teeth and Mane to score). They're on form at the moment, and at the end of the day PSG spend their season playing mid-table championship sides, so I think that'll be the difference. I expect we'll get the usual Neymar shenanigans

.

I’ve yet to watch a full game this season.

Happy with the first five results of the premier league obvs ,plus the Scottish £5er off my spurs work colleague.:-)

tonight should be a different kettle of fish.

I’m looking forward to showing little J how silly Neymar looks rolling about for nothing. He’ll now probably be sublime & score a hat trick. 🙁

Will someone st BT Sport please ensure we never again have to endure Steve McManaman commentating on Liverpool games, please? Or anything. Ever again! But particularly Liverpool games.

He makes me want to carve my own ears off with a blunt rusty Stanley knife and then stamp them into a bloody pulp!

Just make it stop!

His commentary is terrible - BT Sport seem to employ the worst commentators and pundits. I think that ex-players should not commentate on their old clubs - they just sound like giddy fan-boys.

And three former Liverpool players as half time pundits too.

Great objective, unbiased impartial stuff. Where’s Gary Neville when you need him?

No i’m Bloody not Bravissimo! I had money on 3-1. Sort your bloody defence out! They’ve only played the equivalent of Accrington Stanley all season and they just put two past you 😂

...and I’ve had to endure 90 minutes of that half-wit sat in the commentary box in his full Liverpool kit

I was going to just put the hashtag #ABL (in the same vein as ABU) but I can’t imagine it’s actually a hashtag. Unless people are being ironic - since it’s a few decades before hashtags were a thing since Liverpool won owt.

Well City were rubbish today. Too many players not performing and some complacency creeping in.

Well played Lyon though - they played really well as a team in stark contrast to the PSG show ponies last night.

This season is going to be a lot harder than the last one so we better get it together asap.

A Mourinho implosion looks imminent, judging by his comments on Pogba and the captaincy. I think he's saying to the board 'back me or him.' Will it be days, weeks or months? I think it's usually November.....

Pogba was just stating the obvious. That some of the best players in the world are being forced to play his ponderous ‘style’ of terminally dull, defensive anti-football.

I might feel a bit better about it if the spirit-crushing tedium of it actually worked, but the footballing world has moved on. Everyone knows that. Even Brighton.

It must be pretty frustrating winning the World Cup with some fantastic attacking football, then come back to be told there will be no more of that nonsense and you’ll be playing as a holding midfielder with a brief to bore the opposition into submission.

He’s clearly lost the dressing room. Again. As he always does. The sooner he’s gone, the better!

Is it wrong to take pleasure in watching the implosion happen very slowly, it's another evening that the toys could get over the stands...

It's great entertainment but it's going to happen less and less. Who's going to employ him after this one? (but I hope he stays too 😀)

Who’s going to employ him after this one?

Given they knew exactly what they were getting I'd think there are a few more before he ends up as manager of [insert more money than talent national side here]

Not sure that even a Fergie-time goal can save Jose.

Come on Binners, he just needs time, his track record speaks for itself

Or is it prawn sandwiches from the executive box?

At least can you keep him until we come up there, Rafa will lift them for that game or 70k people might sleep together for 90 mins
