Christmas works night out season. Parents both in their teens and, at the time, unmarried. Never asked but my guess is I was conceived up a close in Springburn or the Gorbals. 😕

I think Mum and Dad were peace lovin hippies celebrating Nixon announcing that another 40000 troops would be withdrawn from Vietnam. Either that or celebrating Equatorial Guinea's independence from Spain.
