A bit good, weren't they? I loved it when they used to have the organ as well, but the stripped back sound really suits their newer albums.
kerv - weren't one of the stoned/pissed aged hippies with the straight chick on a bad trip were you??????? 😯

Half Man Half Biscuit in Sheffield - always a pleasure, never a chore etc.
Secret Green (Francis Lickerish, ex Enid) at the Trades in Hebden, end of the month - believe the new album is very good, and my mate Andy is playing bass for them, so got to give him some support!
Reel Big Fish in Manchester in the New Year. Partners daughter likes them, and TBH they are really good fun live - Ska with a proper party atmosphere. I get more exercise dancing at their gig's than I do on most rides, very good for the calf muscles 🙂
Did ACDC, T in the Park, The Levellers, MacFloyd, The Cult and Muse so far this year. Got Shed 7, Placebo and Wolfmother to go. Next year got greenday at Wembley, T in the Park and Muse at Wembley so far.

Saw Edwyn Collins earlier this month. Ace gig.
Taking the kids to 'Bring Me The Horizon' this weekend.
Great gig in Brighton last night. Does It Offend You, Yeah.
Amazing for this thread that its not a band that have been going 10/20/30 odd years or one that has reformed!!
I mean Status Quo. ffs let them die
Oh and the Prodigy and co this summer at the MK Bowl open air, if my daughters got the tickets.
Bluetones in Landan in December.
Oceansize in Nottingham next friday. Also Spiritualised at the Sage in Newcastle in december 🙂
I saw a band that has been going for 30 years last night and they really kicked ass. Thge Specials; pretty well full line up apart from Jerry on keyboards.
Packed full of energy and attitude, not bad for a front 3 at least with average age of 54.
Anyone else going to see them you're in for a treat. RRUUUUDE BOYS!!!!
