I'm synchronising my iPod tonight.[flounces off]

Actually I'm preparing for tomorrows drive to Snowdonia when I hope to fulfil a dream of riding up and down Snowdon, alone and on a bright evening with the sun setting.

Watching Paris Open, trying to rehydrate after long hot sunny ride. Chicken in the oven, may eat outside. Guitar practice later.

Waiting for my legs to start working after a local 10K. 3 pints of cask and a flake is a controversial recovery regime.

A spot of gardening once the sun's gone down a bit (Too effing hot right now!)

Then a nice cold Summer Lightning or two with a cajun chicken salad.

FAO Buzzlightyear.

stay up top until it gets dark and then ride it.

Superb fun and you can let ri psafe in the knowledge that you wont meet anyone on the way down!

We have done it twice now - thoroughly recommended!

worse than that, CF, I'd just swapped bikes with a friend and he was just riding along (really - on the bit to the sart of the DH at Cwmcarn...)

Could have been quite horrible.

A cool idea that. Of all the times I've hiked Snowdon I best recall a few years back I crossed Crib Goch alone late on a summer evening with the sun setting out past Yns Mon as I reached Snowdon and then jogged down at dusk. It was really magical.

The last two times I've planned to ride Snowdon the weather turned out really awful and I retreated to CoedYBrenin. This time everything looks like it might come together: time off work, just fit enough, weather set fair, bike ready. I'm probably just going to go up an down the pony track and not do the ranger/telegraph as I'm concerned it's a bit too techy to be doing alone and late in the day. Will leave that for when I can round up some mates to scrape me up.

Laid out on the couch - addle-pated with too much sun. Bring back the wind and the rain.

Rode out into the hills today and then caught up with my SiL who was running the Edinburgh marathon. Lord have mercy that looked tough - 26 miles on the hottest weekend of the year thus far. There were runners dropping left and right - I'm talking proper laid out, paramedics in attendance. Respect to anyone who did that today.

Walk with the wife and kids. Mooching about the internet for an Argentina football strip for the little lad. Trying to ignore the sickening thought of another week at work.

I've been rationalising my photo collection. ROCK AND ROLL! Got it down from 2500 to about 1600. (I'm only doing this because it seems to slow lightroom down).

Now I'm moving some videos across to my pendrive for watching next week when I'm away on business and in a few minutes I'll be firing up the XBOX for some forza3 and Crackdown action.
