Wifey is out, the televisual choice is mine, all mine!
Fancy a film or two, vaguely cerebral, or quality thriller/action. Ideally a combination of all three.
Recommendations please...
Telegraph list of decent films. Thrillers first listed. The Aussie one is worth a shot.
EDIT: Dallas Buyers Club is listed further down (under "Drama"). Also worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
Try the 2015 release called 'Love'. If after 30 seconds of the opening scene you are still watching it, then its probably the film for you.
Dai Darcy linking to the Telegraph?
Now I've seen it all!
If you haven't seen it, and it's available, The Night Manager was excellent.

It's only the movie reviews. Acceptable in my book. (And I did check down through...he appears to be talking sense mostly to be fair to him.)
Wash your hands first if you've had chilli.
Tudors or Spartacus if you've got a dirty mind like cougar.
Or, just switch to Dave. Now.
Just give in to the envitable - porn
The blacklist
So, anyway, I'm watching There Will Be Blood.
It's a lot slower than I was expecting.
I enjoyed Robert Redford in "all is lost" last night. The critically acclaimed list is not usually way off. The subtitled "hijacked" or similar named is also good. Boat and made before the Tom hanks film.
Ayeleeumths ith on film 4
Latest season of trailer park boys on Netflix faeaturing snoop dog.
Also a good motorbike documentary on Netflix also.
In the last week or so we've watched
The Tunnel
Film about one of the bigger tunneling operations under the Berlin Wall. In German with subtitles. Very good I thought. If you liked Downfall it might be up (under?) your street.
Spy Game
An older (2000 ish?) Robert Redford/Brad Pitt thriller / action movie. Seen it a few times over the years. Not earth shattering but very watchable.
I'd just go for a full on Archer binge to be honest.
