Some really unexpected comedy moments while he used the underground

Transfixed by a nice pussy? That's not comedy its an everyday occurrence on the Tube.

So I'm told.

I howled when he was looking at the books in the shop. And the way he used the pedestrian crossings. I was doubled over. Don't get me started on JC's hovercraft driving. I mean, have you ever seen anything quite as funny as that? I reckon he hadn't been given any practice and they just let him off at it. Best Sunday evening tv in years. ๐Ÿ˜€

Staged obviously, and therefore there goes the humour.

You do realise that it's a TV don't you, not a window.

Everything on it is "staged" one way or another

(Even the News, if you believe JHJ ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

"Standup comedy can **** off as well, it's all staged !!1!"

Even MrsBouy cracked a smile at the last shot of the Stig head banging the iron fence whilst looking longingly at a Porker RS in a Dealership..

Just had high 5's with the 14yr old daughter on the realisation she likes Top Gear. Much to Mrs STR's disgruntlement ๐Ÿ˜€

LittleMissMC has been poorly on the sofa all day. Top Gear has had her laughing and giggling for the first time today. So I'm in!

Having got despondent with the last special and past couple of weeks, this was genuinely thoroughly chucklesome, well done Top Gear, you have redeemed yourself for light entertainment!

Very funny tonight. I do think there's an opportunity for a real motoring show to run on the bbc as well as Top Gear.

Think I might have watched an old episode on Dave. Pretty sure I didn't see the same one that others did.

I use to drive G30s. The brakes on fire isn't a fake.

I agree but I think it needs stronger words than tripe to describe how bad it was. Normally I don't mind Top Gear but that's an hour of my life I won't get back.

You do know that you don't *have* to sit and watch something that you do not enjoy don't you?

Fast forwarded through big chunks of it. Could have done the ambulance stuff in half the time. The star in the car was ace though. What a genuinely nice guy

I enjoyed it and tbh yes- the ambulance bit was padded out but there were funny moments in.

Wow that really was a low point!
It's been shite for ages but was always a breath of fresh air after the usual cack the Mrs has on but last night's really smelt bad!

Rest of the series is on record I'll watch it if not doing anything else which tbf Sunday nights probably won't be, good time for it to be on I guess.

I think 'low point' and 'tripe' are a little harsh, it was a bit of fun, if not serious, stuff.

Not sure why they've changed the format of

Intro
Fast car round the track/stig posts a lap in it
'News'
Part 1 of whatever 3 car challenge they are doing
Star in reasonable priced car
Part 2 of challenge
Wrap up
'And on that bombshell'
Fin

To a whole episode devoted to the challenge with an interlude for star in a reasonable priced car? Reflects the current audience I guess.

At least they've kept the bit where the car catches fire so it isn't too big a change

For those that are moaning/wanting a 'proper' car show on BBC. There is one, it's on BBC Alba. I hope you enjoy it*

(*hopefully once watched you'll realise why Top Gear moved away from this format)

I thought last night's was rubbish. Normally enjoy it and this series has so far been better than the last couple, but the whole ambulance thing was rubbish.
There were a couple of amusing points, but they were few & far between for me.
