Ahem, we have 16, ferret math set in. Still cheaper than kids (just) and putting them away in cages won't get you arrested. And the "poley" in the first picture is a spitting image of our Husker.

Had polecat ferrets as a kid they were great pets. They do stink a little though.

They don't smell too bad generally and all ours have been castrated which helps.
But when they let that stink out when they're scared oh dear!!
