Want to get away for a week in February. Must have a log fire, accepts dogs, pub fairly near and just enough room for Miss Houns, the pooch and me. Happy anywhere from Tongue down to Skye, near the coast or a loch

Try around Gairloch. The VisitScotland site shows whether pets are accepted.
