Looking at getting a synthetic sleeping bag, 3 season and with a budget of approx £150 may be a little more.

Doing some research and the Lamina's are popping up everywhere and seem good kit for the money, anyone use any of the Lamina bags?

Any others worth a look? Its got to be a synthetic bag.

Might be worth looking on the Bearbones forums and search for "Lamina", there's quite a few posts. From one post I see Scotroutes has a couple.

There's quite a few in the range - "3 season" doesn't really mean anything as what's 3 season to one manufacturer is 2 season to another, bags are now rated according to EN13537 (snappy),. Comfort and limit ratings are what you should look at: comfort is meant to be the women's rating and limit the men's but it's better to think of them as for cold and warm sleepers respectfully.

👋

Yep - I have a couple. Lightweight for a synthetic bag of their rating. Roomy enough without being baggy.

I have a Lamina 0 for full-on winter use and a Lamina 32 I was using the rest of the year. The 32 is pretty much overkill when it's a wee bit warmer though (32 refers to.the comfort temp in degrees F).

IIRC the SuperLaminas are lighter again.

I have no hesitation in recommending them if you want/are Happy with a synthetic bag. Shop around and if you're in no hurry you'll often find them at stupidly low prices.

I have one after recommendations on here (probably from scotroutes!). Not used it properly in anger yet but I'd agree that it's fairly light for what it is and pretty toasty. I have the 20 I think, keeping an eye out for a deal on one of the lighter ones as it's overkill for most nights in the UK .

I have an extra long lamina 35, it's nice. I have had some 'bracing' nights in a tent in it though, I'm not sure if you're supposed to be fully clothed to meet the min temp guidelines but I thought they were a bit optimistic

I'm sure that I recommended them to druidh many years ago. Even if I didn't, I  want all the credit .... And some commission
