We've got this sky + hd thing, with the entertainment package, so this provides us with a replay type service, but it seems that this doesn't allow us to replay bbc or channel 4 type programmes. Anytime, is the name of the service. Does anyone know how we get to replay bbc and 4OD type things?

Next question is, how much do the box office movies cost? And do movies from the Anytime service cost anything?
Some of the ones on there are from sky movies, which is a service we don't have.

This technology is very confusing...

Anything from Anytime from a channel that you don't subscribe to will be either unavailable or not-free.

Do you have an xBox?

I don't think iPlayer or 4od is on the Sky Machine. Do you get your internetz from JY's enemy too?

As others have said, Sky Anytime records lots of programs that you have to upgrade your subscription to watch.

It's primarily a marketing tool for other Sky channels.

Unless you're referring to Anytime + which I believe allows you to view historic programs. I assume the same subscription restrictions apply.

The problem with Anytime+ is, it's pish. I've given up on it, it's a waste of half my hard disk.

I find the best way of watching things I want to watch is to record them beforehand. OTOH, Remote Record rocks big time.

Junky; You'll be pleased to know that I'm currently watching 'live' footy on tinternet, a stream of Sky's broadcast.

And it is not costing me a penny. ๐Ÿ˜€

Chaz, if thee has a jellybone line connected to your ski box, you can use remote record.

You downloads an app to your wireless communication device.

you can do it on't web, or there's apps for Android and iPhone. Need to register on the website to enable it.

See, your main problem is that you should have got TiVo in instead.
