Been offered a chance to take the family to stay with friends for a week in Feb near Bagneres-de-Bigorre. My teenagers have never been skiing before (and the wife and I haven't been for 15 or so years) but keen to go for a few days, maybe 6 in total. La Mongie is nearest resort (we would be driving daily) and looks ideal for beginners and intermediates.
Any tips on how best/ cheapest to get ski passes/hire/lessons there? Or tips on ski areas round there generally?

For lessons ESF, in a group if individual classes are over budget.
Book skis/boots through one of the chains, Skiset or Intersport as demand in February will be high.
