Why, all of a sudden, am I getting this warning message? I only get it here, and it’s only started happening today. Every time I go to the next page, a previous page or a new topic, I get the warning, and it’s pissing me off! This is on Safari on my iPad, I used to use Firefox and Brave, but started getting various issues with those, now I’m getting this rubbish. Anyone have a clue?
All those classified ads won't store themselves you know!

I saw this being discussed (shock, I know) on an unrelated website the other day. The consensus was that it was something to do with Safari being weird in recognising the use of some sort of (Google?) database rather than a site itself requiring that much storage in isolation.
YMMV.

I get this with Safari 16.5.2 on MacOS 13.4.1.
