The tree falling converts some of the kinetic energy into sound waves (as we call them)..they have the same properties whether somebody is there to physically hear them or not or indeed a machine to record them. So yes, a tree falling does make a sound..fact 😀

Even now at 37 years old when I look at it I have to force myself to see the 'S' rather than a strange abstract red and yellow logo in a magic eye kinda way

Rather embarrassingly, when Aheadsets first became popular, I could never get mine tight.
It wasn't until a mate watched me do it that it became apparent what I was doing wrong.
I'd been tightening the stem and [i]then[/i] trying to tighten up the topcap to bring it all tight 😳 Took about 2 years of constant frustration and half a dozen headsets before I worked that one out.
In saying that, I've had a few emails from a guy who ought to be more embarrassed than me. He manages to squeeze in "all intensive purposes" at least once per email 🙂
