A few years back, more luck than good timing.

I like this one because each cyclist gets one shot rather than firing at 9fps then choosing the best.

IMO the vomit shot always wins.

Not mine, but here's an example. A previous favourite was of Stuart dangerous vomming from the top bunk in a Youth Hostel, the vom was about 5 feet long.

PMSL @ the vom shot. Surprized it isn't coming out of his ears as well.

I know its not clever, but I do laugh at those face plant shots, where the photographer has lucked it just right and the subject looks perfectly still while balancing on the face / head.

IIRC there was a pic like that in one of the recent issues of the mag.

Urchinboy's lightning is winning for me so far, but the chap with his face on his tyre always makes me laugh.

Mine are rubbish in comparison

@ lucas,

no GPS, i have a rather sorry looking map which i've marked up with is rideable/worth riding. lots of tracks look good, but go nowhere other than to an aquaduct or some such.

when are you going?

I took this one with a cheap compact by sticking it out and pressing the trigger at random...

given the vagueries of compact trigger reaction speeds and the close proximity to the sublect, i was quite astonished that i'd filled the frame with shinythings here. he was travelling pretty quick too.
