I spent a fun day yesterday building a holzhausen with a group preparing for a woodsy festival near Falkland. It was a team building project with some of the volunteers. A few were students from the Glasgow School of Art who were keen to make an installation of one as a piece of environmental art.
Comedy moment of the day was when emptying a ton bag of splintered kindling into the core something silvery caught my eye. It turned out to be a mobile phone, which unbeknown, one of the guys had dropped. Had I not seen it and we had called it's number it would have rung from the middle of the stack. Phew!
Here's the gig if anyone is around near Falkland.
