Anything with Derek Griffiths.

Camberwick Green/Trumpton. Born in 76 so copped for repeats and meant I never really saw Chigley. Apparently I used to cry when they went back into the little musical box at the end of Camberwick Green ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Also mentions for Jamie And His Magic Torch, Mr Benn, Cockleshell Bay and the mighty Trap Door. Ooh yeah, and owt by Gerry Anderson.

When I was young, I never realised Silas (or Heidi) were dubbed.

My six year old is firmly addicted to She-Ra (all the episodes can be found on yootoob).

My fault really, she hit me with the "Dad, why can't girls be super heroes?" question and I had to dig out some strong female role models. ๐Ÿ˜€

Yep. Good mate at school was nicknamed Silas because he apparently looked like the kid in it (except he didn't at all).

A friend of mine has a vinyl LP with the Mr Rossi theme tune in every language the show was syndicated in. I can't think of any other instance of an album where every track on it is the same song.

{edit} looks like you have to click through to youtube to view it

Gosh, you're all so young! In my day it was black and white and the likes of Bill and Ben, The Woodentops, and Andy Pandy.

^ah yes, some of the prints of the films were pretty shonky and the intro music got more and more warped.

Much more recent but this was genius. Best first 5 minutes of any TV series in history

Old moomins were terrifying! What were they thinking?

All a bit modern for me. Where's Andy Pandy or Bill and Ben?

This, & what Countzero said. I think I stopped watching kids TV in 1971 when I was 14!
