Firstly, Mods, I didn't know where to put this so if it needs moving/deleting, I understand.
So for Mrs G's 60th in December I got 2 Shaky tickets for the 18th May at York Barbican. (I always get some daft tickets for something for her birthday & Shaky was around in 'our time')
It now transpires that we can't go as she has an operation to remove a tumour in her bowel on the 24th May & is obviously bricking it, as we both are, & doesn't feel like going to see Shaky.
The tickets have a face value of £79.20, I've put them on Gumtree for £45 but up to now, no joy (apart from some bloke who offered £30)
So how about if anyone on here wants them (highest bidder wins) & I donate the proceeds to Cancer Research or McMillan?
Not my area, but well worth a bump!
.....I'm desperately trying to think of a good Shaky related comment to take the mick a bit here, but nah- just wanted to say that I hope Mrs EGF gets well soon.
Good luck and best wishes to your wife, we saw a tribute act called Stationary Stevens once, he was great
Saw his brother, Stationery Stevens.
Not much to write home about.
Hope all ok Essel.
