Don't try to be too clever.

With the £5 budget we've got I got something witty and clever IMO. Receiver didn't get it and claimed it to be crap. Ah well he's meant to be clever but is obviously not bright enough. Hope he hands the PhD back.

I'll bite. What was the something?

* hopes for genius, expects nothing *

Oh, and by the way, the answer to the £5 Christmas gift dilemma is:

A red sticker with "If this sticker appears blue you're going too fast."

He's a physics teacher and doesn't seem to get the whole hypsochromic doppler effect thing.

Apparently "dry your eyes princess" is not seen as an appropriate comment.

Oh, and one of my colleagues was given a Vajazzle!!

She thought it was ace, but complained that her hubby would probably say something like. "You've got something stuck on you..."

Want!

My humorous choice was to buy sun cream for the very orange man in our office. I got given some silver skull valve caps, which I found very tasteful as I already have some on one bike 🙂

I got a very balding man a comb where I'd cut out all the teeth except the middle two. Raised a guffaw,

Kev - your problem is that your PhD involved colours and stuff and was pretty close to physics for a chemistry dude - or so you said anyway as I have no clue about that stuff.

Anyway - did it really surprise you that folk in that place didnt get it?

DezB - that's not a problem IMO. Main one in Camelbak, leave one at work, another in the car, etc.
