[Closed] School kids whinging as temperatures hit 30 degrees Celcius

I remember as a school kid in the 80s we would keep a close eye on the thermometer because we "knew" that once the classroom got above a certain temperature they couldn't let us stay.

So yeah, not a new thing.

Try teaching a class full of boiling hot kids, see how much they learn.

I dunno about you but when I was a kid I didn't generally want to be in school, so this is probably a ploy rather than the kids being wusses.

I carried on working in the heat but schools considering closing?

I don't work in education, so I'm not an expert, but I'd be surprised if it's the kids that make those sorts of decisions.
